If you know of someone (maybe yourself?!) who’s looking for housing in Chicago this summer, click here! (There’s a full photo tour in the ad link, too.) http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/sub/1099116275.html
Yep, we’re renting out our place. And it’s awesome. I’m not kidding. I love living here. Lemme know if you’re interested by leaving a comment on this post and I’ll get in touch with you privately via email.

Right?! You know you want to live here.

We get guh-REAT light throughout the whole unit
I’ll be honest – I’ll feel more comfortable renting the condo to someone who reads my blog (or is friends with someone who reads my blog) than a person I find on Craigslist, so anyone who gets in touch via The Beholder will be given preference. And probably some baked goods, too. And maybe some makeup.
When I was looking for that video clip from “The Red Balloon,” I came across a bunch of stills taken from the movie. How sweet would it be to decorate a child’s room using this movie as the theme? For that matter, a grown-up room could pull it off, too. (By the way, don’t forget to answer the Inside the Actors Studio questions in my previous post! I want to hear what you’ve got to say!)

See what I mean? Maybe the prenatal vitamins have gone to my head.
I’m heading out for a lunchtime run – check back in a bit for a workout update, another healthy recipe, and the story of how I came to own a giant box full of free makeup from Sephora.
What was the theme of your childhood room? My mom didn’t know whether I was a boy or a girl, so she hand-painted blue and red rocking horses on my walls and made me a matching toychest that we still own.
I wish I were cool enough to have a blue sofa at my dining table. How gorge is this whole space?

Look at the legs of the table!

Those dishes? That print on the wall?! Too gorge.

Ach, how much do you love this bedroom?. I just love muted color palettes, especially in spaces that are supposed to be restful. Can you just imagine how delicious all of those books must smell? I also adore how disheveled the room is, even though I know I’d be straightening those shelves and tidying up the bed in 2.4 seconds.

While we’re on a tour of my dream-house, how much do you love this library/sitting room? The chandelier is what really seals the deal for me. All three of these images from from Mobileffe.

I could curl up there for DAYS.
What’s your favorite color palette for R&R-style rooms?
